Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting control systems, preferably in an entertainment setting.
- Proficiency in programming languages related to control systems.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Main Responsibilities:
1. System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of control systems for lighting, audio-visual equipment, ride mechanisms, and other entertainment-related systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
1. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot control system malfunctions, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex technical issues.
1. Programming and Calibration:
- Program and calibrate control systems for optimal performance.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in control technology and implement improvements as necessary.
1. Emergency Response:
- Participate in emergency response procedures and drills related to control systems.
- Work closely with the safety team to ensure a coordinated response during emergencies.
1. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of control system configurations, programming changes, and troubleshooting activities.
- Provide detailed reports on system performance and recommend enhancements.
1. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with overall facility operations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events, ensuring control systems meet event requirements.
1. Preventive Maintenance:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for control systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they impact guest experiences.
1. Training:
- Provide training to other maintenance staff on control system operations and troubleshooting techniques.
- Stay informed about emerging control technologies and share knowledge with the team.
1. Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.
