About your role:

We're hiring a content writer to own ad scripts end-to-end for our Indian market. You'll ideate hooks, write scripts, and brief editors. Your work will run as paid ads on Meta, Google UAC, and YouTube to lakhs of users every week. This is a hands-on writing role for someone who lives and breathes short-form video, understands what makes larger Indian audience stop scrolling, and wants to see their scripts ship and iterate quick.

Key Responsibilities:

- Write scripts for paid ad creatives across formats including UGC, AI-powered videos, founder-led, problem-solution, testimonial, and influencer integrations.
- Own the creative end-to-end: hook ideation, full script, brief to editor, and review of cuts.
- Ship a steady volume of scripts each week, with hooks engineered for the first 3 seconds.
- Read performance data weekly (hook rate, CTR, CVR, watch time) and use it to decide what to double down on, kill, or remix.
- Run hypothesis-led experiments with new formats, new angles, and new hooks. Report what worked and why.
- Work directly with Telugu influencers and creators on scripts and integration ideas.




- Adapt winning concepts from Hindi and other South markets into culturally native language, not literal translations.
- Sit with editors, give feedback, and protect the intent of the script through the final cut.

Requirements:

- 1 to 2 years writing scripts for short-form video, including paid ads, UGC, branded content, or social-first work.
- Strong hook instincts. You can rattle off 10 different ways to open a video for the same product.
- Comfort with data. You don't need to build dashboards, but you should know why CTR matters and read a Meta report without flinching.
- A portfolio of scripts that actually ran as ads, not just brand films or college submissions.
- Deep familiarity with Indian pop culture, regional reels, and what's currently working on Instagram and YouTube in the Indian market.
