Sneakare
New Delhi
Company Description:
Sneakare is a New Delhi-based, fastest-growing sneaker care brand, built for people who genuinely love what they are wearing on their feet. We market premium, no-nonsense products — cleaning kits, insoles, suede care, and storage solutions — designed to help sneaker fans protect what they paid for and wear what they love, longer. We started small, made it to Shark Tank India, and haven't slowed down since.
Our team is young, fast-moving, and obsessed with getting things right — whether that's a product formula, a listing copy, or a customer interaction. We care about quality over shortcuts, ownership over excuses, and learning over ego.
Job Overview:
As Content Strategist, you will own Sneakare's content engine end-to-end — from what gets made, to why it gets made, to whether it actually worked. You'll sit at the intersection of brand, performance, and product experience: translating real customer voice (reviews, pain points, buying hesitations) into content that builds the brand and drives measurable results.
You will not be a solo content creator — you will be the strategic hub that briefs, coordinates, and holds accountable a network of artists, designers, videographers, editors, and writers to deliver a consistent, high-performing content funnel.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Own the Content Engine:
- Own the end-to-end content strategy and calendar for Sneakare, ensuring every piece produced aligns with brand guidelines, brand voice, and current business priorities.
- Build and maintain a content funnel — top-of-funnel brand/awareness content, mid-funnel consideration content, and bottom-of-funnel conversion-focused content — mapped to platform and audience.
2. Cross-Functional Content Production:
- Collaborate closely with artists, graphic designers, videographers, video editors, and writers to translate strategy into finished content — writing explicit, actionable creative briefs and ensuring on-brief, on-brand execution.
- Coordinate timelines and priorities across the creative team so content is delivered on schedule against campaign,
seasonal, and platform calendars.
3. Content-to-Performance Feedback Loop:
- Own the feedback loop between content and performance — track which messages, formats, and hooks actually drive results, whether that's purchases, engagement, CTR, or reach.
- Translate performance data into clear next-cycle recommendations: what to double down on, what to retire, and what to test next.
- Work closely with the performance marketing function to ensure winning content angles get fed into paid campaigns (Meta ads and beyond).
4. Customer-Insight-Led Content:
- Mine customer reviews — from the website, Amazon, and other marketplaces — for real language, objections, and use-cases, and turn these insights into content ideas and messaging.
- Identify recurring customer pain points (e.g., product usage confusion, stain-specific concerns, durability questions) and create content that directly addresses them — improving product experience and reducing purchase hesitation through content itself (how-to's, demos, FAQs, myth-busting formats, etc.).
5. Content Delivery:
- Plan and deliver a range of content formats including performance ad creatives, YouTube videos, and brand campaigns, along with organic social content, listing content, and platform-specific formats as needed.
- Ensure messaging and creative stay consistent across every format and platform while adapting tone and structure to what each platform/audience needs.
6. Market & Competitor Awareness:
- Track competitor content and category trends in the sneaker/shoe care and quick-commerce space, and proactively bring fresh formats and ideas into the content calendar.
What We Are Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or brand content roles — D2C, e-commerce, or consumer brand experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to plan and run a content calendar across multiple platforms and formats, not just execute one-off pieces.
- Strong briefing and creative direction skills — able to translate strategy into clear briefs that designers, videographers, and editors can execute against with minimal back-and-forth.
- A genuine data-driven mindset — comfortable digging into performance metrics (engagement, CTR, conversion) and using them to shape what gets made next, not just reporting on what happened.
- Experience turning customer feedback and reviews into content ideas — someone who reads reviews and comments as a strategy input, not an afterthought.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for brand voice and consistency.
- Working knowledge of Meta Ads, YouTube, and e-commerce/marketplace content requirements (Amazon A+ content, quick commerce visibility content, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led D2C environment — able to manage multiple stakeholders (creative team, performance marketing, e-commerce) and prioritize independently.
- A genuine interest in sneakers, footwear culture, or lifestyle content is a bonus, not a requirement — but curiosity about consumer behaviour is essential.
What Success Looks Like
- A content calendar that runs on time, every cycle, mapped to business priorities.
- Content that measurably moves engagement, reach, and conversion — with clear before/after evidence.
- A creative team (designers, editors, videographers, writers) that consistently delivers on-brief work because the briefs are clear.
- Content directly informed by real customer language and pain points — visibly reducing repeat questions/objections at the review and support level.
