The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of Building Management Systems (BMS) and integrated HVAC control solutions. The incumbent will ensure seamless system functionality, support project execution, troubleshoot site issues, and coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities

BMS Installation & Commissioning

- Execute installation verification, startup, testing, and commissioning of Building Management Systems.
- Configure controllers, field devices, supervisory software, and communication networks.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

HVAC System Integration
- Integrate HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, pumps, and ventilation systems with BMS platforms.
- Verify control logic, sequences of operation, and system performance.
- Support optimization of HVAC systems for energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Technical Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, and field devices.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Provide timely technical support during project execution and post-commissioning phases.

Control System Testing & Validation
- Conduct functional testing, point-to-point verification, loop checking, and system validation.
- Ensure all control systems meet design intent and customer requirements.
- Prepare and execute commissioning protocols and test procedures.

Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, customers, and service teams.
- Support project scheduling and ensure commissioning activities are completed on time.




- Attend project review meetings and provide technical updates.

Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain commissioning records, test reports, punch lists, and project documentation.
- Prepare commissioning completion reports and handover documents.
- Ensure all project documentation is updated and archived as per company standards.

Customer Training & Project Handover
- Conduct customer training on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Support final project acceptance and handover activities.
- Build solid customer relationships through effective communication and technical expertise.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

Preferred Competencies
- Knowledge of BMS platforms, HVAC controls, and field instrumentation.
- Understanding of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and TCP/IP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 5 - 9 Years of experience
- Hands-on experience in commissioning BMS/HVAC projects.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites and manage multiple priorities.
- Customer-focused with strong technical acumen and attention to detail.
- Experience in commercial buildings, data centers, healthcare, industrial, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
