Role Description The Commis Chef role at Yellow Rose is a full-time, on-site position based in Faridabad.

The Commis

Chef will support daily kitchen operations, including preparing ingredients, assisting with baking and cooking, and ensuring food is presented according to café standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining high hygiene standards, following food safety procedures, and helping keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked. The role involves working closely with senior chefs, following recipes,



learning new techniques, and supporting the development of the menu.

The Commis

Chef will also collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service during peak hours and contribute to a positive, respectful work environment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Food Preparation and Culinary Skills, with enthusiasm for bakery and café-style cooking.
- Knowledge of Hygiene and food safety standards, and commitment to maintaining a clean, compliant kitchen.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with chefs, service staff, and management.
- Basic Cooking experience in a skilled or training environment, with willingness to learn and follow recipes.
- Ability to work on-site in Faridabad, including early mornings, weekends, and peak service hours.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Previous experience or formal training in culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory.
