The Cluster Manager – Bancassurance will be responsible for driving life insurance sales through partner bank branches within the assigned cluster. The role involves managing bank relationships, driving revenue targets, leading a team of Relationship Managers/BDMs, and ensuring business growth through the banca channel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales

- Drive life insurance sales through partner bank branches.

- Achieve cluster-level premium targets (APE / FYP / RWRP).

- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue.

- Monitor daily sales performance and pipeline management.

2. Relationship Management

- Build strong relationships with Bank Cluster Heads, Branch Managers, and key stakeholders.

- Ensure regular engagement with banking partners.

- Conduct joint sales calls with Relationship Managers.

3. Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Relationship Managers / Banca Officers.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions.

- Ensure productivity per RM as per company benchmarks.

4. Training & Activation





- Conduct training sessions for bank staff on life insurance products.

- Drive activation of new bank branches within the cluster.

- Improve product penetration across mapped branches.

5. Compliance & Process Adherence

- Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and company compliance standards.

- Maintain documentation and process accuracy.

- Ensure proper issuance and persistency ratios.

6. Reporting & MIS

- Track daily/weekly/monthly sales numbers.

- Share MIS and performance reports with senior management.

- Monitor persistency and quality parameters.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Graduate / Post Graduate (MBA preferred).

- 5–10 years of experience in Life Insurance / Bancassurance.

- Minimum 2–3 years of team handling experience.

- Strong experience in banca channel sales.
