Role Description The Cinematography role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru, focused on capturing and producing high-quality video content that showcases the childcare environment, activities, and educational programs. Day-to-day tasks include planning shot lists, setting up cameras and lighting, filming classroom interactions and events, and ensuring all footage aligns with the organization’s values and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with childcare staff and management to understand key moments to document, maintaining equipment, and organizing footage for editing and archiving.

The cinematographer will also support basic post-production tasks, such as reviewing clips,



providing input on edits, and preparing content for internal use, marketing materials, and digital platforms.

Qualifications

- Strong cinematography skills, including camera operation, framing, composition, and understanding of lighting for indoor and outdoor settings.
- Experience with video production workflows, including pre-production planning, on-site shooting, and coordination with editors.
- Basic proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and file management best practices.
- Ability to work sensitively in childcare environments, respecting privacy, safety, and child protection guidelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with educators, staff, and management.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communication, or related fields is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
- Prior experience filming in educational, childcare, or family-oriented settings is an advantage.
