Role Description The Child Development Specialist is a full-time, remote role suited to an early-career qualified who is a quick learner and can join immediately. The specialist supports children with neurodevelopmental differences and their families — conducting developmental assessments, creating individualized care plans, and guiding strategies for cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with clinical and therapeutic team members, delivering parent education sessions, documenting progress, and adjusting interventions based on ongoing observations and feedback.
The specialist will engage families via virtual sessions, provide practical recommendations for home and school environments,
and contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that also involves maintaining accurate records, following evidence-informed practices, and actively upskilling through continuous training under senior clinical guidance.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in child development, early intervention, or a related field — this role is designed for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and grow within a structured clinical setup.
- Working knowledge of or hands-on exposure to ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), Occupational Therapy (OT), and/or Play Therapy approaches.
- Fluency in English and Hindi (written and spoken) is required for family communication and documentation.
- Strong foundation in Child Development and Psychology, with the ability to apply theory to practical, family-centered interventions.
- Some exposure to Working With Children in clinical, educational, or therapeutic settings, including diverse developmental and behavioral needs.
- Emerging skills in Parent Education — coaching and supporting caregivers to implement strategies at home.
- Background in Psychology, Special Education, Early Intervention, or a related field.
- Comfortable working in a remote, multidisciplinary team environment, with good communication, documentation, digital literacy and collaboration skills.
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems, along with maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Available to join immediately and adapt quickly to fast-paced, evolving processes.
