Role Description The Chief Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for overseeing all engineering and construction activities across projects. This position leads project planning, structural design coordination, and execution, ensuring that work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards while adhering to timelines and budgets.

The Chief

Engineer collaborates closely with architects, contractors, site engineers, and vendors, providing technical guidance, resolving on-site issues, and optimizing construction methods and materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising multiple project sites, reviewing drawings and technical specifications, monitoring progress and resource utilization, and preparing regular reports for senior management.



The role also involves mentoring engineering teams, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement in construction processes and overall project delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong civil engineering and construction management skills, including structural analysis, project planning, and site execution.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality control, safety management, and compliance with local building codes and regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess abilities in vendor and contractor coordination, resource allocation, and cost and time management.
- Candidates should possess leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to guide and mentor engineering staff.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant engineering and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project or similar), along with strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field, with substantial experience in residential or real estate construction projects, preferably in Pune or similar urban environments.
- Proven track record in delivering multi-site projects on schedule and within budget, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work on-site across different project locations in Pune, adapt to evolving project needs, and uphold ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory workplace practices.
