Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Bengaluru.

The Chartered

Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting, including preparation of financial statements, general ledger review, and monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities. Daily responsibilities include handling direct and indirect tax compliance, filing returns, supporting audits, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The role involves reviewing and interpreting financial data, advising clients on financial planning, tax optimization, and risk mitigation, and preparing reports and documentation for management and statutory purposes.

The Chartered

Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and clients, respond to queries, and support process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) with active membership in a recognized qualified body.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting practices (e.g., Indian GAAP, applicable local regulations).




- Experience in direct and indirect taxation, including return filing, tax planning, and handling tax assessments or audits.
- Proficiency in audit procedures, internal controls review, and preparation of working papers and audit documentation.
- Comfort with accounting software and ERPs, advanced MS Excel skills, and ability to work with financial data and analytical tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Demonstrated integrity, professional ethics, and commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
- Prior experience in a CA firm or corporate finance role in Bengaluru or similar markets is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to changing regulations, and participate in ongoing professional development and training.
