Role Description The CA Articled Assistant internship role at Vijay Garg & Associates offers hands-on training in core areas of chartered accountancy. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, supporting GST and income tax compliance and filings, and helping prepare working papers, schedules, and documentation for client engagements. The role involves gathering and analyzing financial data,
performing basic reconciliations, supporting system and process reviews, and coordinating with senior team members during fieldwork and client interactions.
Articled
Assistants will also contribute to drafting reports, maintaining organized records, and adhering to qualified standards and timelines. This is an in office internship role based in Rajasthan, India, providing structured practical experience aligned with CA training requirements.
Qualifications
- Enrollment as a Chartered Accountancy student and eligibility to register for articleship under ICAI guidelines.
- Strong fundamentals in accounting, auditing, taxation (including GST and income tax), and corporate law.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic accounting or ERP software; comfort working with data and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear working papers and reports.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a structured approach to problem-solving and financial review.
- Ability to work on-site in a team-based environment, manage time effectively, and meet professional deadlines.
- Integrity, professional discipline, and willingness to learn from diverse audit, advisory, and consulting assignments.
- Prior internship or practical exposure in audit or taxation is an advantage but not mandatory.
