Role Description The Business Head role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Chennai Area.

The Business

Head will oversee overall business operations, including sales, marketing, production coordination, and customer relationship management for welding, cutting, and automation solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting and executing business strategy, managing key accounts, leading a cross-functional team, tracking financial performance, and identifying growth opportunities in target markets. The role also involves monitoring market trends, improving operational efficiency, ensuring high service standards, and representing the company in negotiations, partnerships, and industry events.





The Business

Head will collaborate closely with technical and manufacturing teams to align product offerings with customer requirements and business objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing cross-functional teams and driving business outcomes.
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in industrial equipment, welding, cutting, or related manufacturing sectors.
- Solid understanding of welding and cutting technologies, with exposure to automation solutions considered an advantage.
- Competence in strategic planning, financial analysis, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Ability to work on-site, make data-informed decisions, and adapt to evolving market and customer needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is beneficial.
- Prior experience in a senior business leadership role and familiarity with industrial safety and compliance standards are preferred.
