About us:
Integra Robotics develops modular robotic systems for industrial automation, inspection, material handling and operations in hazardous or difficult-to-access environments. Its portfolio spans collaborative robotic arms, end-of-arm tooling, underwater manipulators and mobile robotic platforms. A shared architecture combines mechanical systems, electronics, controls, teleoperation and simulation, with a roadmap towards increasingly autonomous operation.
Join a multidisciplinary team translating robotics engineering into practical products and customer applications. These openings support commercial adoption and the digital assets used to demonstrate, simulate and refine robotic systems.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in B2B business development, technical sales or solution sales in a relevant field. Industrial automation experience is preferred.
Work arrangement: Mandatory work from the office. Flexible working hours, Monday–Friday, coordinated with team responsibilities and customer commitments.
Office location: Integra Robotics (Research & Fabrication) Space. Customer visits and business travel will be required as the role demands.
Role:
Develop private-sector business for Integra’s robotic arms, grippers, mobile platforms and application-specific solutions. Own opportunities from prospecting and technical discovery through proposal, negotiation and order closure, then support a transparent handover to engineering and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage manufacturers, MSMEs, OEMs, automation companies, system integrators and private industrial or infrastructure operators with suitable robotics applications.
- Build a qualified pipeline through targeted outreach, referrals, inbound enquiries, industry events and partner relationships; engage plant heads, production and engineering teams, procurement and business owners.
- Understand the customer’s process, payload, reach, cycle-time expectations, work environment, integration needs, budget, decision process and deployment timeline.
- Coordinate site assessments, product demonstrations and proof-of-concept discussions with application engineers; agree the customer’s acceptance criteria and next steps.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations and return-on-investment or payback analyses using validated pricing, deployment costs and customer operating assumptions.
- Negotiate scope, commercial terms and delivery commitments within approved boundaries; coordinate technical feasibility and approvals before making customer commitments.
- Develop OEM and system-integrator partnerships and identify repeat orders, multi-unit deployments, maintenance contracts and relevant upgrades.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, deal stages, next actions and forecasts; coordinate purchase-order handover, payment follow-up and customer feedback with the relevant teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant B2B commercial experience,
with evidence of generating qualified opportunities and progressing deals towards closure.
- Ability to understand technical products and explain business value clearly; working familiarity with industrial workflows and the basics of robotics or automation.
- Strong discovery, presentation, proposal writing, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfort with sales targets, structured follow-up, pipeline reporting and cross-functional collaboration
Software & Tools:
- Required: Working proficiency in a CRM such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot or Salesforce; experience with one comparable system is sufficient.
- Required: Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for pipeline tracking, quotations and ROI calculations; PowerPoint or Google Slides for customer presentations.
- Useful: LinkedIn Sales Navigator or equivalent account-research tools; experience handling RFQs, commercial proposals and order documentation.
- Preferred: Ability to review product drawings, CAD views, layouts and technical datasheets with engineering support. Familiarity with PLCs, machine vision, and industrial interfaces is an advantage.
Preferred measure of Success:
A qualification in engineering, business or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent relevant experience is welcome. Experience selling robotic systems, capital equipment or automation solutions, and relationships with industrial buyers or system integrators will be valued.
Success will be assessed through qualified pipeline quality, conversion to orders, revenue and margin contribution, forecast accuracy, repeat business and effective customer handovers. Targets will be agreed with the company.
