Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a BOQ and Quotation Specialist based in Gurugram. The specialist prepares detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for interior architecture and signage projects, ensuring accuracy in quantities, materials, and pricing. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing drawings and design specifications, coordinating with design and project teams to clarify scope, and updating BOQs and quotations as designs evolve.

The role involves obtaining and comparing vendor quotes, maintaining rate libraries, and supporting budgeting and cost-control during project execution.



The specialist also participates in client proposal preparation, provides cost-related insights for value engineering, and ensures all documentation is organized, consistent, and aligned with project timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation for interiors, architecture, or signage projects.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications, with the ability to translate design intent into accurate material and quantity requirements.
- Experience with MS Excel and relevant estimation or project management tools; familiarity with CAD or visualization software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of construction materials, interior finishes, fixtures, and signage systems, including current market rates and vendor sourcing.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to maintain organized documentation and structured cost databases.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design, sales, procurement, and site execution teams.
- Ability to manage multiple quotations and deadlines, prioritize tasks, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Understanding of commercial interiors, retail environments, and workspace projects, with a solution-oriented and client-focused mindset.
