Role Description The Billing Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Thane, responsible for managing billing and quantity-related activities for interior projects. The role includes preparing and verifying Bills of Quantities (BOQs), coordinating with site and project teams to validate quantities, and ensuring accurate measurement and documentation of work completed.

The Billing

Engineer will perform rate analysis, track project costs, reconcile contractor and vendor bills, and support timely invoicing and certification of payments. Day-to-day tasks also involve maintaining billing records, assisting with cost estimates,



and supporting project managers with data required for budgeting and progress reporting. The role requires close collaboration with design, procurement, and execution teams to maintain transparency and control over project financials.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying skills to accurately measure, record, and verify project quantities.
- Candidates should possess experience with Billing Systems and Rate Analysis to manage invoices, evaluate costs, and support financial planning for projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review data, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate and reliable billing information.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with interior, construction, or fit-out projects, including basic knowledge of materials, finishes, and site workflows.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and relevant billing or ERP software, along with strong numerical aptitude.
- Candidates should possess good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with project managers, site engineers, vendors, and clients.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in a similar billing or QS role is an advantage.
