Job Title: BI Engineering Solution Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated BI Engineering Solution Developer with strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, BI Engineering, and modern data pipelines. The ideal candidate will play a key role in modernizing and automating our Business Intelligence ecosystem, supporting Tableau-based reporting solutions, and collaborating with Data Engineering and BI teams to design scalable reporting architectures.

This is a hands-on technical role (80%) focused on development, automation, and data transformation, with 20% involvement in solution design, architecture discussions, and collaboration with BI developers and Data Engineering leads.

Key Responsibilities

- Modernize and automate existing BI pipelines using Python, SQL, and enterprise SDLC practices.
- Leverage and enhance GitHub repositories to support CI/CD-driven BI development and deployment.
- Develop and maintain data transformation layers supporting reporting and analytics requirements.
- Design, develop, and support scalable ETL/ELT frameworks and reporting data models.
- Collaborate with BI developers and Data Engineering teams to define optimal table structures and reporting frameworks.
- Work with Tableau REST APIs to automate administration, monitoring, and deployment activities.
- Support Tableau reporting solutions and troubleshoot data flow issues.
- Understand and contribute to data movement across the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver,



Gold layers).
- Execute and maintain Python-based ETL frameworks and Linux-based automation scripts.
- Participate in solution discussions, design reviews, and technical brainstorming sessions.
- Support production issues, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in BI Engineering, Data Engineering, or related analytics development roles.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Python
- SQL
- Git/GitHub
- Linux scripting (Shell/Bash)
- Experience developing and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery practices.
- Experience with data modeling and designing reporting-ready datasets.
- Familiarity with Tableau architecture, reporting workplace, and Tableau REST APIs.
- Understanding of modern data platforms and Medallion Architecture concepts.
- Experience executing and troubleshooting Python-based ETL frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting enterprise BI platforms and reporting ecosystems.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics architectures.
- Exposure to monitoring and observability practices.
- Knowledge of Elastic Search and ES|QL (Elastic Search Query Language).
- Knowledge of Kafka streaming is a plus.
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or large-scale enterprise environments.
