Role Description The Automobile Engineer role at TORQVOLT is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The individual in this role will design, develop, and test automotive systems and components, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing vehicle requirements, preparing technical drawings and specifications, collaborating with electronics and design teams, and participating in prototype development and validation.

The Automobile

Engineer will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, support production teams with technical guidance, and document engineering processes and test results.



This role also involves working closely with cross-functional colleagues, communicating project updates, and contributing to continuous product and process improvement.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, solve engineering problems, and optimize vehicle performance.
- Candidates should possess Automotive Engineering and Automotive domain knowledge to design, evaluate, and improve vehicle systems and components.
- Candidates should possess Electronics-related skills to work with electrical systems, sensors, and vehicle control modules.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare reports, and present technical information clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience with CAD tools, simulation software, and standard automotive testing procedures.
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality management processes in the automotive sector.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Hyderabad Area and manage multiple projects with attention to detail and timelines.
