Role Description This is a full-time, in office Automation Engineer role based in Ahmedabad.

The Automation

Engineer will design, configure, and implement automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, drives, motion control systems, and industrial sensors for a variety of industrial applications. Daily responsibilities include reviewing customer requirements, developing control logic and system architectures, preparing wiring diagrams and panel layouts, and programming automation equipment. The role involves commissioning systems at customer sites, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting hardware and software issues,



and optimizing process performance.

The Automation

Engineer will collaborate with sales and application teams, provide technical support and documentation, and ensure that solutions meet safety standards, quality benchmarks, and project timelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Process Control for designing, programming, and optimizing industrial control systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering skills for panel design, wiring, system integration, and understanding of electrical safety standards.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Troubleshooting for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and field issues in automation systems.
- Candidates should possess experience in Robotics and motion control for applications involving automated machinery, material handling, and precise positioning.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
- Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI programming, drives, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and create electrical drawings, control panel layouts, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in industrial environments.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for commissioning, support, and training as required.
