ASSISTANT RESORT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Kadkani River Resort, Coorg is looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as Assistant Operations Manager.

? Experience: 5+ years of experience in the hospitality industry

About the Role The Assistant Operations Manager will work closely with the management team and take an active role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the resort.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in hospitality operations, excellent people-management skills and the ability to take ownership of operational responsibilities while ensuring a high standard of guest service.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in overseeing the overall day-to-day operations of the resort
- Coordinate and work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Activities and other departments
- Ensure smooth coordination between departments and effective communication
- Monitor guest satisfaction and personally handle escalated guest concerns when required
- Ensure service standards and operational procedures are consistently followed
- Supervise, guide and support operational teams
- Assist with manpower planning, staff allocation and daily task coordination
- Conduct regular operational checks across the resort
- Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action
- Ensure resort facilities and guest areas are maintained to expected standards
- Assist management in improving operational efficiency and guest experience
- Monitor daily operations and provide updates to the management team




- Support the team during periods of high occupancy and peak operations
- Take ownership of operational responsibilities in the absence of senior management, when required

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry
- Previous experience in hotel/resort operations is strongly preferred
- Hotel Management / Hospitality qualification preferred
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities
- Guest-oriented approach with a strong focus on service quality
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Flexible working approach based on resort occupancy and operational requirements
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays and during peak occupancy periods when required
- Experience in an independent resort or leisure property will be an added advantage
