: Assistant Manager – Sourcing (Handbags)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Sourcing to manage the end-to-end sourcing and order execution for handbags and accessories, from PO release and raw material sourcing to production, QC, and final dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end order execution: PO → RM → Production → QC → Dispatch

· Prepare and monitor TNA calendars and ensure timely order delivery

· Manage vendor/factory relationships and drive performance on cost, quality, capacity, and delivery

· Negotiate product costs, RM rates, and job-work charges

· Source materials including hardware, fabric, lining, PU/leather, trims, and packaging

· Evaluate and onboard factories based on capacity, quality, compliance, and reliability

· Support capacity planning, allocation, and PO release





· Identify and resolve production, RM, quality, and delivery bottlenecks

· Maintain vendor scorecards, order trackers, GRN trackers, and factory evaluation reports

· Coordinate with Category, Quality, Planning, and NPD teams

Requirements

· 5–7 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or production

· Experience in handbags/accessories/fashion manufacturing preferred

· Solid vendor management and negotiation skills

· Good understanding of TNA, production tracking, costing, and raw materials

· Strong Excel/Google Sheets and reporting skills

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills

· Willingness to travel for factory visits/audits as required
