– Assistant Manager First Aid Training
- To fulfil all the responsibilities of Instructor First Aid as stated by the DGCA
(CAR Section 7 – Training and Licensing Series ‘M’ Part I), other relevant CARs for eligible population (ref http://dgca.nic/) and as per the company guideline.
- Accountable for all planning and conducting first aid training programs for all
the initial and recurrent eligible population (as per regulatory requirements).
- Attend all relevant training courses and maintain all required
certifications/qualifications pertaining to first aid as well as to upskill knowledge.
- To ensure all first aid-related training modules, manuals, tests, certificates,
record keeping, maintenance of related infrastructure etc. and to also comply with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) stated regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
- To be responsible for all the administrative processes of the first aid training
courses as per DGCA stated regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
- Own, maintain and update all relevant first aid training records related to
effectiveness & efficiency (this would be in addition to the DGCA requirements that are also to be addressed).
- Stay abreast of all developments and action plans.
- To follow all approved courses as designed by ifly.
- Attend training conferences to gain knowledge of Industry trends
- Will be required to multi-skill into an instructor for ground force for
relevant and timely first aid modules as identified in agreement with the Manager,
Corporate Learning & Development (IFS and AO&CS;),
and conduct training programs for the same.
- Duties are not limited to the above and additional duties can be delegated at
the discretion of the Associate director – First Aid or such other person designated by IndiGo in this regard.
- However, in addition to your usual responsibilities as set it above and
otherwise, you will also be required to discharge and perform any responsibility or work that may be entrusted and assigned to you by IndiGo, regard the being had to your qualifications and the broad scope of work identified herein.
- “Be aware of and comply with his / her safety responsibilities and
accountabilities as laid down in the IndiGo SMS Manual, Chapter Safety Policy and Objectives.”
Qualification
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) from a recognized institution, with valid registration as applicable
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively deliver first aid and medical training to diverse learner groups in a structured training environment.
- Relevant experience in first aid training, preferably within aviation, healthcare, emergency response, or other regulated training frameworks.
- Exposure to corporate or institutional training environments, with sound understanding of adult learning principles and classroom/simulation-based facilitation.
- Demonstrated ability to operate within regulatory and compliance-driven frameworks, including training documentation, record maintenance, and adherence to Regulator and company guidelines.
