About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Import Pricing to manage import pricing activities, vendor coordination, rate negotiation and quotation support. The candidate will work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure competitive pricing and timely responses to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day Import Pricing activities for Sea & Air shipments.
- Obtain competitive rates from shipping lines, overseas agents, transporters and other vendors.
- Negotiate freight rates, local charges and other applicable costs with vendors.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with the Sales team for pricing enquiries and provide timely rate support.
- Coordinate with Operations for shipment-specific pricing and cost requirements.
- Maintain updated rate sheets, vendor tariffs and pricing records.




- Monitor rate validity, surcharges, local charges and market fluctuations.
- Evaluate multiple vendor options to achieve competitive pricing and healthy margins.

Requirements

- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Import Pricing / Freight Forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of Import Sea Freight, Air Freight, local charges and related logistics costs.
- Experience in dealing with shipping lines, freight forwarders, overseas agents and vendors.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Robust analytical and commercial understanding.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and pricing/rate management.
- Strong coordination skills with Sales, Operations and Finance teams.
