Role Description Assistant Cooks at Delish Caterings support the kitchen team in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for daily operations, corporate orders, events, and special occasions.

Responsibilities include assisting with food prep (cutting, chopping, marinating), following standardized recipes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting protected food handling and storage. The role also involves helping with plating, packing, and organizing orders,



and coordinating with senior cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

- Foundational culinary skills, including basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and familiarity with Indian and regional cuisines.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper kitchen sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and instructions from senior cooks or kitchen supervisors.
- Strong teamwork, time management, and organizational skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work shifts including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen, catering unit, restaurant, or hotel is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic literacy and numeracy to read instructions, labels, and measure ingredients accurately.
