Role Description The Arabic Tutor is responsible for delivering interactive online lessons to learners of different ages and proficiency levels, focusing on speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills in Arabic. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, designing engaging learning materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. The tutor will also communicate regularly with learners (and, where appropriate, parents or guardians) to discuss goals, performance, and strategies for success.

This is a part-time,



remote role that requires reliable internet access and the ability to teach across time zones as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Arabic (native or near-native level) and the ability to teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation skills clearly.
- Experience in online teaching or tutoring, including familiarity with virtual classroom tools and digital learning resources.
- Ability to create structured lesson plans, adapt teaching methods to different learning styles, and design engaging activities for various age groups.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a learner-centered approach that supports diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Relevant academic background in languages, education, or a related field; teaching certifications or training in language instruction are an advantage.
- Reliable computer, headset, and high-speed internet connection; comfort with using video conferencing and educational platforms.
- Previous experience teaching Arabic in an online or classroom setting is preferred but not mandatory.
