About Astroverse

Astroverse is a startup dedicated to making astronomy and space science accessible and engaging for people of all ages. We are building a current ecosystem around astro-tourism, astronomy education, STEM learning, and experiential science spaces across India.

Our work includes developing sustainable astronomy and space observation centres, AstroLabs in schools, STEM learning environments, observatories, and immersive spaces that bring science to life through hands-on experiences.

We are looking for a creative and driven Architect who wants to work at the intersection of architecture, education, science, and experiential design.

?️ Role: ArchitectAs an Architect at Astroverse, you will be involved in designing and developing spaces that inspire curiosity about astronomy, space science, and STEM.

You will work on projects ranging from school AstroLabs and astronomy learning spaces to observatories, science centres, astro-tourism destinations, and other experiential environments.

? Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop AstroLabs, astronomy classrooms, observatories, science learning spaces, and experiential environments.
- Translate educational and scientific concepts into engaging physical spaces.
- Prepare concept designs, floor plans, layouts, elevations, 3D models, and presentation drawings.
- Develop space planning and interior concepts suitable for schools, institutions, and astro-tourism projects.
- Collaborate with the education, astronomy, engineering, and project teams to develop practical and innovative designs.
- Participate in site visits, measurements, feasibility studies, and project planning.
- Assist in material selection,



design detailing, BOQs, and coordination with contractors/vendors.
- Ensure designs are functional, sustainable, safe, accessible, and aligned with project requirements.
- Develop designs that create an immersive and memorable learning experience for students, visitors, and communities.
- Contribute creatively to new concepts and future Astroverse projects across India.

? What We’re Looking For
- Degree/Diploma in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent).
- 0–3 years of experience; fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of architectural design, space planning, and visualization.
- Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, or similar software.
- Strong design sense and attention to detail.
- Ability to think creatively and work across different types of projects.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and project execution.
- Interest in astronomy, science, education, sustainability, or experiential design will be an added advantage.
