- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability and efficiency.
- Provide timely updates and clear communication to stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress.

Jamf and Mac support administrator

Experience – 5 to 9 years (CL10)





The Mac Support Engineer / Jamf Administrator is responsible for the administration, deployment, automation, and advanced tier support of the organization s macOS device typically held by VIP users Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 4 to 6+ years of hands-on enterprise IT experience focusing on macOS support and Mobile Device Management (MDM).

Jamf Expertise: Deep knowledge of Jamf Pro administration, patch management policies, and package building.

Scripting Proficiency: Experience with Bash, Python, or AppleScript for endpoint automation.

Core Apple Knowledge: Solid understanding of macOS architecture, Apple hardware diagnostics, Directory Services, and networking protocols.

Certifications (Preferred)

o Jamf Certified Associate / Admin / Expert (Jamf 100/200/300)

o Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or equivalent

Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or enterprise ticketing platforms. Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apple macOS Management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex software issues within macOS environments.
- Experience in managing and supporting macOS operating systems in enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities specific to macOS.
- Ability to work with configuration management and deployment tools related to Apple macOS.
- Good understanding of network protocols and security principles as they apply to macOS systems.
