We are looking for a motivated Android Development Trainee to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for freshers or final-year students who want hands-on exposure to real-world Android app development under the guidance of experienced developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining Android applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and productive code in Kotlin/Java
- Work with APIs, SDKs, and third-party libraries to implement app features
- Debug and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues
- Participate in code reviews and follow Android development best practices
- Test applications on various devices and Android versions
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and tools
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java
- Understanding of Android Studio, XML layouts, and Android SDK
- Familiarity with Git/version control
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON is a plus
- Knowledge of MVVM/MVC architecture is a plus (not mandatory)
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
