Role Description The Political Analyst role at Parlin Research and Insights is a full time, on-site position based in Bagalkot.

The Political

Analyst will collect, interpret, and synthesize political data, including election results, policy proposals, and public opinion surveys, to produce clear and objective analyses. Daily responsibilities include monitoring current political events, conducting research on political parties and leaders, and preparing reports, briefings, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The role involves collaborating with research and communication teams to develop insights that support projects, publications, and client engagements.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear writing, presentation abilities, and the capacity to explain complex political issues to diverse audiences.
- Solid academic or practical background in Political Science, with familiarity in Political Analysis methods and frameworks.
- In-depth understanding of Politics, including party systems, electoral processes, and policy-making at local, state, and national levels.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods, including surveys, interviews, and data visualization tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Bagalkot, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
