AM – Fleet Management /n Fleet management scope: /n /n
- No of vehicles : 250 trucks
/n
- Type – Bulk and packed, Rigid and semi trailer
/n
- No of transporter – 12
/n
- Business- LPG, Lubes & SFL.
/n
- Support implementation and maintain PATROM norms (road safety norms) at of heavy goods vehicles.
/n
- Various transport audit coordination for the company and transporter followed by gap analysis, and action plan monitoring.
/n
- Support as transport safety fleet manager in establishing the PATROM worthy fleet with timely completion of induction, vetting and safety checks as per business needs
/n
- Conduct periodic/surprise vehicle inspections and participate in accident/incident investigations and RCA.
/n
- Drive zero-accident culture across fleet operations
/n
- Coordinate for policy deployment and system harmonization across all vendor bases (transportation and other vendors)
/n
- Ensure routine up-keep and regular maintenance of company deployed safety equipment (OBC, IVMS, TX Trailer, etc).
/n
- KIP monitoring

Fleet
Management /n Manage vehicle induction, acceptance, and commissioning process. /n Monitor fleet roadworthiness, vehicle compliance, and statutory certifications. /n Conduct vehicle vetting and Safe-to-Load compliance checks. /n Maintain and communicate approved vehicle lists. /n Ensure fleet availability to meet operational requirements. /n 2. Safety & Compliance /n Ensure compliance with PATROM, company standards, and local regulations. /n Conduct periodic and surprise vehicle inspections. /n Participate in accident/incident investigations and RCA.
/n Implement corrective and preventive actions. /n Drive zero-accident culture across fleet operations. /n 3.
Transporter
Management /n Coordinate with transporters on fleet compliance and performance. /n Conduct transporter reviews and improvement meetings. /n Validate adherence to vehicle maintenance and inspection schedules. /n Support transporter audits and action-plan closure. /n 4. KPI & Performance Management /n Monitor transportation KPIs. /n Track fleet utilization, breakdowns, compliance, and safety performance. /n Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fleet reports. /n Identify cost-saving and fleet optimization opportunities. /n Accountabilities /n /n
- 100% road transport safety rules (PATROM) compliance.
/n
- Zero major fleet-related incidents.
/n
- Fleet availability and roadworthiness.
/n
- OBC/IVMS compliance and effectiveness.
/n
- Reduction in driving violations per 1,000 km.
/n
- Timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions
/n /n Qualifications: Graduate in Engineering Engineering/Science background, 5-10 years' experience in fleet/logistics operations. Preference from Oil and Gas industry, hazardous cargo, chemical industry. /n Skill Sets required: Analytical ability, Positive interpersonal and communication abilities, Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, Customer service-driven attitude. Good ability to manage work under high pressure. /n Experience: Knowledge of transport regulations, fleet safety systems, Transport digital instrument, Logistics industry & its key trends. /n Location: Mangalore. /n Language: Tamil, Hindi.
