AI Quality Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Software AI QA Engineer to join the SOLIDWORKS Gen7 and Virtual Companion initiative. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality validation of AI-driven and cloud-based features, including functional, performance, reliability testing. This role plays a critical part in certifying high-impact deliverables and safeguarding exceptional product quality before customer release.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

- Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans for Gen7 and Virtual Companion projects in SOLIDWORKS.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing across AI and Cloud-based solutions.
- Validate AI/ML model behavior, accuracy, edge cases, and real-world workflows.
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate closely with development and product teams to drive resolution.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and FD planning to ensure quality is built from the start.
- Analyze test results, generate detailed test reports, and support release readiness decisions.
- Ensure product Quality, performance and reliability through specialized validation techniques.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.
- Support early beta releases, customer feedback analysis, and production issue validation.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.




- 1–3 years of experience in software QA or automation testing (preferably in CAD, AI, or Cloud domain).
- Strong Experience in CAD/PLM, or graphics-intensive application testing.
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and defect tracking tools.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration pipelines and modern DevOps tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

- Hands-on experience with automation scripting (Python, JavaScript, or equivalent).
- Experience in testing AI/ML features, cloud services.
- Working knowledge of generative AI, LLM frameworks, machine learning data validation.
- Performance, reliability, and scalability testing exposure.
