About Neuron Academy

We teach AI to school children as a proper subject — not a gadget, not an app. Hands-on, screen-light, built around one idea: children should understand and build with AI before they simply use it. We work inside schools during school hours, alongside their teachers. CBSE now requires Computational Thinking & AI for Classes 3–8. We're one of the few teams delivering it the way it should be taught.

The role

You'll take AI classes for Grades 3–8 at a partner school in Chakan. Each class is 35–45 minutes. Sessions are games, experiments and building activities — a Class IV child training a camera to recognise her own cricket stance, a class becoming a human neural network. We give you the full curriculum, lesson plans, materials and training. You bring the room to life.

What you'll do

- Deliver Neuron Academy sessions to primary and lower secondary classes (30–40 students)
- Travel to the school in Chakan on scheduled days
- Prepare using our lesson plans and materials; share brief session feedback with us
- Co-teach your first sessions with the founder before running them independently

Who we're looking for





We're especially keen to hear from women returning to work after a break from IT. Your background already covers the foundation. We'll give you everything else.

We're also glad to hear from anyone who is genuinely excited about AI, explains things simply, and enjoys being around children.

What matters

- Transparent, warm communication — in English, with Hindi or Marathi a plus
- The ability to hold a classroom's attention and connect with young students
- Willingness to learn — we train every facilitator before they teach
- Reliability: being at the school on time, every scheduled day
- Based in or near Chakan, or able to travel there regularly
