About The Role The AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI models and systems that support ColigoMed’s healthcare technology products. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves building and training machine learning and deep learning models, with a focus on pattern recognition, neural networks, and NLP-based solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, clinical, and software teams; preparing and analyzing datasets; implementing production-ready code; and integrating AI models into scalable software applications.

The AI Engineer will also monitor model performance, optimize algorithms, document technical work, and contribute to research and experimentation on new AI approaches relevant to healthcare use cases.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, APIs, and version control.
- Practical experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, including training, evaluation, and optimization of machine learning and deep learning models.




- Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text classification, information extraction, and conversational AI.
- Proficiency with AI and ML frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and experience working with structured and unstructured data.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD) and deploying models to production environments.
- Experience in healthcare, medical data, or regulated industries is a plus, along with an interest in responsible and ethical AI.
