About The Role

We are seeking our first dedicated AI Engineer to lead the development, deployment, and governance of our agentic AI systems. Unlike many companies still at the demo stage, Travezy has moved beyond initial prototypes and is now focused on operationalizing AI solutions in production environments. The ideal candidate will own the entire lifecycle of AI models—from building robust, scalable systems that utilize agentic coding tools to establishing evaluation frameworks that ensure reliability and continuous improvement.

You will be instrumental in designing the infrastructure that supports AI features, managing multi-model routing, and creating semantic data layers that facilitate natural language querying across diverse data sources. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of AI at Travezy, directly impacting our product offerings and operational capabilities.

Qualifications

We value practical experience and a problem-solving mindset over formal credentials. The ideal candidate has successfully taken AI systems from pilot phases into reliable production environments,



with a proven track record of maintaining and scaling these systems for real users. You are proficient in coding with agentic tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Devin, and possess strong opinions on their limitations and potential improvements.

Experience in developing evaluation frameworks for AI systems, especially related to code generation or product output, is highly desirable. You should have a solid understanding of data modeling, semantics, and ontology design, enabling you to build meaningful semantic layers over complex data sources. Familiarity with MCP, agent orchestration frameworks, or LLM gateways, as well as experience with multi-model routing, is a plus.

Candidates should also have a good grasp of infrastructure deployment, preferably on AWS, and be comfortable owning deployment pipelines and observability systems.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain production-grade AI systems utilizing agentic coding tools, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly into our product ecosystem.
- Design, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines for AI-generated code, establishing review, testing, and deployment procedures that prioritize safety and reliability.
- Build and optimize the agentic infrastructure, including orchestration, tool access, failure handling, and system observability to ensure high availability and performance.
- Create evaluation frameworks that accurately measure the impact of AI changes on both code quality and product output, facilitating continuous improvement.
- Manage governance across multiple AI models and providers, balancing factors such as cost, latency,



quality, fallback strategies, and model trustworthiness.
- Construct a semantic data layer over various sources like Mixpanel, GA4, RevenueCat, and AppsFlyer, enabling natural language queries and data integration.
- Design ontologies and knowledge graphs that enhance data understanding and accessibility for internal tools and AI agents.
- Set up MCP servers or equivalent infrastructure to ensure secure and efficient data access for internal systems and AI agents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI development with product goals, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
