Minimum Qualification

Bachelor Program in Mechanical Engineering

Industry Preference: Construction Machinery, Heavy Engineering, Capital Equipment, Material Handling Equipment, Automotive OEMs and Industrial Machinery Manufacturing.

Role Purpose

Lead the procurement function and sourcing strategy for manufactured parts, bought-out components, assemblies and services. Responsible for building a robust supplier network across India and globally while ensuring cost competitiveness, quality and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the Procurement team and establish procurement best practices.
- Scout,



evaluate and develop suitable vendors anywhere in India for manufactured and engineered components.
- Identify and develop strategic global sources for critical components, assemblies and technologies.
- Lead sourcing of fabricated, machined, cast, forged, hydraulic, drive train, electrical and bought-out parts.
- Drive vendor development, localization and alternate source creation.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments, technical reviews and commercial evaluations.
- Lead commercial negotiations .
- Drive cost reduction, value engineering and procurement productivity initiatives.
- Monitor supplier performance on Quality, Cost, Delivery and Responsiveness.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Projects, Quality and Finance teams.
- Manage import sourcing, international supplier relationships and global procurement activities.
- Ensure timely material availability while minimizing supply chain risks.
