Role Description This full-time Admissions Counselor role is an on-site position based at the Amity Information Center in Firozpur.

The Admissions

Counselor will guide prospective students and parents through the admissions process, including providing detailed information about programs, eligibility criteria, campus life, and career opportunities. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, conducting campus visits and information sessions, and supporting application review and documentation processes.



The role also involves participating in outreach activities such as school visits, education fairs, and community events, as well as collaborating with academic departments to ensure accurate and timely communication.

The Admissions

Counselor is expected to maintain high standards of professionalism, uphold university policies, and contribute to enrollment targets while delivering a supportive, student-centered experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for engaging with prospective students, families, and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Sales skills to provide responsive support, build trust, and effectively promote academic programs.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, enabling them to understand academic pathways, program structures, and student needs.
- Relevant experience in admissions, counseling, student services, or a related academic or administrative role is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Psychology, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple inquiries and applications simultaneously are required.
- Comfort with using office software, admissions or CRM systems, and digital communication tools is advantageous.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and a student-centered approach in higher education settings is valued.
