Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, in office role based at Acharya Institutes in Bengaluru. This role involves engaging with prospective students and families, explaining academic programs, admission criteria, and campus facilities in a clear and supportive manner.

The Admissions

Counselor will handle inquiries via phone, email, and in person, guide applicants through the application and enrollment process, and maintain accurate records of leads and conversions. Daily responsibilities include conducting campus tours, participating in outreach events or education fairs, coordinating with academic departments on admission decisions, and supporting marketing and admissions campaigns.



The role also requires regular follow-up with prospective students, providing timely information and ensuring a positive admission experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, courteous, and supportive assistance throughout the admissions process.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage inquiries, follow up on leads, and convert interest into successful enrollments ethically and transparently.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of Education environments and academic programs to accurately represent offerings and admission requirements.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, business, communications, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Bengaluru, manage multiple tasks, and meet admission timelines and targets.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM or admissions management systems is beneficial.
- Prior experience in student counseling, admissions, or education services is an advantage.
