Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Receivable Caller role based in Velachery.

The Accounts Receivable

Caller will contact patients, insurance companies, and other payers to follow up on outstanding balances, clarify payment status, and resolve billing inquiries.

Responsibilities include reviewing account details, verifying claim information, documenting call outcomes, and updating systems with accurate payment and follow-up notes. The role involves coordinating with internal billing and RCM teams to address denials, discrepancies, and escalated issues, while adhering to compliance and privacy requirements.

Caller is expected to meet daily productivity and quality targets and maintain professional, clear communication in all interactions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional phone interactions, along with active listening and clear articulation.
- Candidates should possess basic accounting and billing knowledge, including understanding of invoices, adjustments, and payment reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle processes, insurance follow-up, and medical billing terminology (prior AR calling or RCM experience preferred).
- Candidates should possess proficiency with computer systems and billing software, including accurate data entry and documentation skills.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.
- Relevant experience in an accounts receivable, collections, or call-center environment is beneficial; prior healthcare or medical billing experience is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification such as a high school diploma; a degree in commerce, finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work in office in Velachery and to adhere to organizational policies, compliance standards, and performance expectations.
