Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. The role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.



The Accountant will coordinate with internal teams to track inventory, cost of goods sold, and margins, and will assist in internal controls, audits, and process improvements.

This is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring close collaboration with management to provide accurate financial insights for business decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong core accounting skills, including journal entries, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other relevant tax and regulatory requirements.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate, organized financial records.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional certifications such as CA/ICWA or equivalent are an advantage.
