Role Description The Accountant role at Chiky Travels is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing invoices and receipts.

Responsibilities include reconciling bank statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, supporting budgeting and cost tracking for tours and travel packages,



and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with management and operations teams to provide accurate financial information that supports business decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel for data entry, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Knowledge of local taxation, compliance requirements, and financial documentation standards.
- Attention to detail, robust numerical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; prior experience in travel or service industries is an advantage.
