Role Description The Accountant Assistant role is a full-time, in office position based in Poonamallee. The role includes maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, assisting with the preparation and review of financial statements, and supporting daily accounting operations such as invoices, payments, receipts, and expense tracking.

The Accountant

Assistant will update and reconcile ledgers, use accounting software to record transactions, and help with basic financial reporting and documentation. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams,



assisting with inventory-related financial entries, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant financial procedures.

Qualifications

- Ability to work with core accounting and finance concepts, including basic Accounting and Finance principles.
- Experience or familiarity with Bookkeeping tasks, such as recording transactions and maintaining ledgers.
- Capability to assist in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and related reports.
- Proficiency in using Accounting Software or ERP tools for data entry and reconciliation.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of retail or trading business processes is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
