Role Description This is a full time, in office Academic Advisor role based in Noida.

The Academic

Advisor will guide prospective and enrolled students on suitable MBBS programs abroad, helping them understand eligibility, academic pathways, and university options. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, explaining admission processes, and supporting students with documentation and application timelines. The role involves close coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth visa processing, pre-departure preparation, and ongoing academic support.

Advisor will maintain accurate student records, follow up with leads, participate in outreach events, and uphold Rus Education’s student-first approach in every interaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to guide learners through program selection and admission processes.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Education-related expertise to advise on long-term academic and professional outcomes.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience in academic advising, overseas education consulting, or student support services, preferably in medical or higher education domains.
- Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds, handle sensitive queries, and provide accurate, unbiased information.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are beneficial.
