We are seeking an experienced Unity Developer (3+ years) with strong expertise in Mixed Reality (MR) and Virtual Reality (VR) application development to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Unity and C#, along with a strong understanding of immersive technologies, performance optimisation, and real-time 3D systems. You will work closely with designers, artists, backend teams, and product stakeholders to build scalable and high-quality immersive applications.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain MR/VR applications using Unity and C#
- Build immersive experiences for platforms such as Meta Quest and other XR devices
- Collaborate with designers and artists to create interactive and visually rich experiences
- Implement gameplay systems, UI systems, and interaction mechanics (XR Interaction Toolkit / Meta SDK)
- Integrate third-party APIs, SDKs, and backend services (REST APIs, authentication, cloud services, etc.)
- Work on full application flow, including frontend (Unity) and backend integration
- Optimise applications for performance, memory, and rendering efficiency across devices
- Write and maintain unit tests and automated tests to ensure code quality and stability




- Follow clean architecture and best practices (SOLID principles, modular design)
- Mentor junior developers and support team growth

Requirements

- 3+ years of qualified experience in Unity development
- Strong experience in MR/VR development (Meta Quest, XR Interaction Toolkit, Meta SDK, OpenXR)
- Proficiency in C# programming
- Experience in integrating third-party APIs and services
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Experience with unit testing frameworks in Unity (NUnit, Test Runner, etc.)
- Understanding of multiplayer systems or real-time networking
- Knowledge of Shader Graph / custom shaders
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with full-stack development (Node.js /Java/backend APIs /databases)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (S3, CloudFront, APIs, etc.)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, build automation for Unity)
- Experience with WebGL builds and deployment
- Exposure to testing strategies, automation, and QA workflows
