The Endpoint Security Engineer is responsible for managing, monitoring, and securing enterprise endpoint devices to protect the organization's IT environment from cyber threats. The role includes administering endpoint security solutions, ensuring compliance with security policies, investigating security incidents, and supporting endpoint hardening initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and manage endpoint security solutions such as Trend Vision One, Cortex XDR, and Endpoint Central (EPC). Monitor endpoint health, malware detections, and security alerts. Deploy, configure, and maintain antivirus, EDR/XDR, and endpoint protection policies. Implement and manage BitLocker encryption and recovery key management. Configure and enforce security policies, including USB device control, web filtering, application control, and firewall settings. Ensure endpoint compliance with organizational security standards. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly security compliance and inventory reports. Troubleshoot endpoint communication issues between agents and management consoles. Coordinate with IT support teams for security agent deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting.



Manage endpoint groups, agile policies, and automated deployments. Support vulnerability remediation and endpoint hardening initiatives.

Robust knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR). Experience with Trend Vision One, Cortex XDR, or similar platforms. Experience with Endpoint Central (ManageEngine) Knowledge of Windows security, BitLocker, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Understanding of malware analysis, ransomware protection, and threat detection. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation. Experience with vulnerability management and security compliance. Hands-on experience with Druva endpoint backup, restore, user/device management, backup schedules, retention policies, and backup compliance reporting. Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 years of experience in Endpoint Security.
