TRANSFORMER SERVICE ENGINEER

1. Role & Responsibilities

- Perform testing and inspection of power transformers.
- Carry out installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct IR, winding resistance, TTR, and transformer oil tests.
- Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
- Prepare transformer test reports and service documentation.
- Support transformer overhauling and site service activities.
- Coordinate with customers and follow electrical safety and HSE requirements.

1. Preferred Candidate Profile

- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering (EEE preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in transformer testing.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in transformer testing procedures.
- Knowledge of transformer maintenance,



commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate electrical testing instruments and prepare technical reports.
- Willingness to work at customer sites and travel within Oman

1. Salary & Benefits

- Monthly Salary: OMR 550.
