DevOps Engineer - Trainee

Job Summary

This role provides an opportunity for working closely with the IT-DEV and DevOps team. You will play a trainee role in learning DevOps tools and systems, observe DevOps Platforms, participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability, efficiency of our infrastructure. Experience: 0 - 2 years

Job Responsibilities

- Learn and work with DevOps on automated delivery pipelines (CI/CD) which streamline software deployments.
- Support infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Assist in monitoring infrastructure, apps and services, and platforms.
- Learn and contribute to the development and maintenance of monitoring tools and alerting mechanisms
- Support incident management by following established protocols and assisting senior engineers in investigation and resolution.
- Learn scripting and automation to assist with repetitive tasks.
- Contribute to maintaining operational documentation and runbook.

Qualifying skills

- Basic understanding of fundamental IT concepts (operating systems, networking).
- Basic working with Server environments on Cloud.
- Interest in learning monitoring tools and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Basic Knowledge with GitHub and CI/CD
- Basic Knowledge of Vibe coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist or alternatives).
- Basic understanding of the AI concepts - Agentic AI & MCP.

Desirable

- Any Cloud based Certification would be Plus.
- Any AI certification will be a plus.

DevOps Engineer

Job Summary





This role provides support for the platform and product operations, working closely with the SRE and DevOps teams. Youll gain experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and contributing to the reliability and efficiency of our systems. Experience: 2 - 4 years

Job Responsibilities

- Assist in monitoring infrastructure, micro-services, products, and platforms.
- Support with incident response by following established protocols and assisting senior engineers in investigation and resolution.
- Gain experience with scripting and automation to assist with repetitive tasks.
- Learn to Build and maintain observability, monitoring (based on telemetry data of metrics, logs, traces etc) for all aspects of infrastructure, micro-services, products, and platforms, and implementing Alerting mechanisms.
- Contribute to maintaining operational documentation.
- Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and training opportunities.

Qualifying skills

- Valuable understanding of fundamental IT concepts (operating systems, networking).
- Experience with Linux environments.
- Understanding on cloud concepts (AWS /GCP preferred).
- Preferred hands-on experience & technical knowledge on Monitoring tools like Grafana, ELK (Opensearch) and has experience in collecting Telemetry, setting up monitors, dashboards and alert metrics with integration skills over various platforms.
- Knowledge with Version Control and CI/CD (Git / Github)
- Basic Know how in scripting and programming (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Basic Understanding of container technology (Docker) or CI/CD pipelines.

Desirable Skills

- Experience working with Technical Support or DevOps Support.
