Job Title: Machine Technician

Department: Production / Maintenance

Reports To: Production Manager / Maintenance Manage

Experience: 2 to 8 years

Job Purpose:

To operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot production machines to ensure safe, productive, and uninterrupted production with minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor injection moulding and related production machines.
- Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and parameter setting as required.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machine problems and breakdowns.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and routine machine inspections.
- Check hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Ensure machines are operated within approved process parameters.
- Monitor machine performance, cycle time, temperature, pressure, and output.
- Attend breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance team for major repairs.
- Maintain machine maintenance and breakdown records.
- Ensure proper housekeeping around machines and work areas

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of injection moulding machines is preferred.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Job Title: Machine Maintenance Engineer

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities for production machines.




- Attend and troubleshoot machine breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Maintain injection moulding machines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical panels, motors, sensors, and related equipment.
- Identify root causes of recurring machine failures and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor machine condition and ensure timely replacement of worn-out components.
- Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and checklists.
- Maintain machine history cards, breakdown records, maintenance reports, and spare-parts records.
- Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, and other departments for maintenance requirements.
- Ensure availability and proper control of critical maintenance spare parts.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, shifting, and modification activities.
- Check machine parameters and ensure equipment operates within specified limits.

1. Technical Skills

- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Knowledge of motors, sensors, PLCs, contactors, relays, VFDs, and control panels.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
