Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
n
• Packaging Design & Artwork Development:
n
o Create and design packaging artworks across multiple SKUs, variants, pack sizes, and formats.
n
o Adapt master designs across the product portfolio while maintaining visual consistency and brand guidelines.
n
o Organise and fit product information, claims, and communication effectively within the available packaging space.
n
• Technical Artwork & Print Execution:
n
o Work with KLDs/dielines, bleed areas, margins, folds, cut lines, and other packaging and print specifications.
n
o Prepare and release technically accurate, colour-separated, and print-ready files to printers and production partners.
n
o Apply knowledge of CMYK, Pantone, colour specifications, and print requirements during artwork development.
n
• Visual Design & Product Communication:
n
o Develop layouts with strong typography, colour, imagery, and visual hierarchy across packaging and product communication.
n
o Create high-quality product images and visual assets for catalogues, PDPs, and marketplace listings.
n
o Create packaging mock-ups and product visualisations for internal reviews, presentations, and launch planning.
n
• Artwork Management & Quality:
n
o Manage artwork changes, revisions, and updates while ensuring version control, accuracy, and consistency.
n
o Handle a high volume of artwork adaptations while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
n
o Ensure all final artwork is accurate and production-ready.
n
Research & Design Direction:
n
o Conduct competitive benchmarking and visual research to identify relevant packaging, category, and design trends for new launches.
n
o Support the development of design guidelines, mood boards, and visual directions.
n
o Source and manage relevant illustrations and images through platforms such as Freepik, Shutterstock, and other image libraries.
n
Requirements:
n
• Experience:
n
o Min 2-5 yrs of experience in packaging design, artwork development, and execution.
n
o Experience handling packaging adaptations across multiple SKUs, variants, and formats.
n
o Experience working with print vendors/production partners and managing print-ready artwork
n
• Skills:
n
o Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and other design software as required.
n
o Strong understanding of KLDs/dielines, packaging specifications, and print production.
n
o Knowledge of CMYK, Pantone, colour separation, and print-ready file preparation.
n
o Ability to create 3D packaging mock-ups and product visualisations.
n
o Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, colour, and imagery.
n
o Strong creative acumen with an eye for design consistency and detail.
n
o Solid organisational, file management, and version-control skills.
n
o Ability to manage multiple artwork revisions and adaptations efficiently.
n
o Strong capability in competitive benchmarking, category research, and visual analysis.
