Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Field Engineer based in the Greater Chennai Area.

The Electrical Field

Engineer will be responsible for overseeing installation, testing, repair, and commissioning duties on electrical systems and equipment, including MV and LV panels, transformers, switchgears, and power distribution systems.



Additional tasks include troubleshooting electrical issues, managing technical documentation, collaborating with the design and manufacturing teams, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards, and overseeing project timelines. Travel to customer sites may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

- Expertise in Power Generation and Power Distribution
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity
- Experience in Electrical Design of systems and components
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical system issues
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Knowledge of MV and LV panels, switchgears, VCB, ACB, and other related equipment
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in fieldwork with electrical equipment is highly desirable
- Fresher or 1-5 experienced candidates with positive communication skills are preferred.
- Candidate must be Diplomo or BE - Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation/automation
