Experience: 8+ Years Experience Location: Bangalore (5 days work from office) Notice period : Immediate / Under 30 days Key Responsibilities - Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure backend services and microservices using Python. - API Engineering: Architect and implement high-performance RESTful APIs and GraphQL schemas, integrating external third-party services and downstream systems using JSON-based payloads. - Database Design & Management: Model, optimize, and manage NoSQL databases (primarily MongoDB) as well as relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MSSQL) for query performance and data integrity. - System Administration & Tooling: Develop, deploy, and debug applications directly in Linux/Unix environments. - Code Quality & Mentorship: Drive clean architecture, comprehensive unit/integration testing, and code reviews across Git-based workflows. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, QA, and DevOps engineers within an Agile/Scrum framework to deliver sprint commitments predictably. Required Technical Skills & Qualifications - Experience: 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience primarily using Python. - Framework Expertise: Deep practical experience with core Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask. - API Technologies: - Demonstrated expertise in designing, securing,



and documenting RESTful APIs. - Practical experience implementing and consuming GraphQL APIs. - Advanced proficiency in handling complex JSON parsing, data serialization, and API integrations. - Databases: - Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB (aggregation framework, indexing, schema design). - Solid working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) alongside ORM/ODM libraries (e.g., SQLAlchemy, MongoEngine, Beanie). - Environment & Version Control: - Comfortable operating, scripting, and troubleshooting in Linux environments. - Advanced proficiency with Git workflows (branching strategies, PR reviews, conflict resolution). - Process & Delivery: Well-versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and test-driven development practices. Good-to-Have Skills (Preferred) - Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience containerizing applications using Docker and deploying/managing workloads on Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift. - CI/CD: Experience configuring automated build, test, and release pipelines using Jenkins or similar platforms. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with infrastructure automation and provisioning using Ansible or Terraform. - Observability & Telemetry: Practical exposure to application performance monitoring (APM), centralized logging, and metrics stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Datadog). Preferred Soft Skills - Robust technical communication skills with the ability to explain complex architectural decisions to non-technical stakeholders. - Proven mentorship abilities to guide junior and mid-level engineers. - Pragmatic problem-solver comfortable owning features end-to-end.
