Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Store Manager to manage hospital stores, inventory, procurement coordination, stock control, and material distribution. The candidate will ensure proper availability, storage, documentation, and timely supply of medicines, medical consumables, equipment, and other hospital materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of the hospital store.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and prepare purchase/requisition requirements.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Pharmacy, Nursing, OT, ICU, and other departments.
- Verify materials received against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper storage of medicines, medical consumables, surgical items, equipment, and general stores.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable.
- Monitor expiry dates, damaged stock, slow-moving items, and obsolete inventory.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation and inventory registers/software records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Control unauthorized issues and maintain proper approval procedures for material issuance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding shortages, replacements, quality issues, and pending supplies.




- Supervise store staff and allocate duties effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, security, and proper organization of the store.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required records and documents.
- Implement measures to reduce wastage, pilferage, overstocking, and stock-outs.

Required Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline; B.Com/BBA/MBA/Healthcare Management preferred.
- Diploma/degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management, or related field will be an advantage.

Experience
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in hospital stores, healthcare, pharmacy, or medical inventory management.
- Experience in a multispecialty hospital/healthcare organization preferred.

Required Skills
- Strong inventory and stock management skills.
- Knowledge of hospital/medical consumables.
- Good computer skills, particularly MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Robust documentation and record-keeping ability.

- High level of accuracy, responsibility, and integrity.

- Inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation.
- Reduction in stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Control of expired/damaged materials.
- Timely availability of essential hospital supplies.
- Proper documentation and audit compliance.
- Reduction in inventory wastage and pilferage.
- Efficient vendor and purchase coordination.
- Timely submission of inventory reports.

Salary As per experience, qualification, and organizational norms.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
